STEM field trips are no longer limited to traditional science centers–today’s STEM trips are interactive, engaging, and bring learning to life for students. Every student loves a field trip, and with a little planning, it can be mostly fun and low stress for the students and chaperones. At OIC, we decided to think outside of the box to incorporate fieldtrips where our students explore STEM in a fun and engaging way!!

Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) of New Britain is a non-profit (501(C)(3) nonprofit organization providing community services through federal, state and local funding sources. We are committed to helping those with barriers to self-sufficiency through our Young Adult Workforce Development initiatives as well as provide youth career awareness and readiness programming to middle and high school students.
