ASMM MIDDLE SCHOOL HOLIDAY PARTY

The middle school students had an amazing time at their Holiday party! The room was filled with excitement, laughter, and nonstop energy as students enjoyed the activities, music, and time spent with friends. It was wonderful to see everyone relax, have fun, and celebrate the season together in such a joyful atmosphere.

From the smiles and laughter to the shared moments and memories being made, the party was a great way for students to connect, unwind, and enjoy a well-deserved break. The enthusiasm and positive energy throughout the event truly made it a special and memorable celebration for all who attended.

A special shout out to our performers Khai K, Robert M, Lilyanna D, Delilah V, Adri Analyz R, Ar’moine W, Aaliyah H and Ares R for technical assistance. And a special thanks to their producer Genesis Brown and her New Beginnings Music Program.

Ms. Brown engaged the students in six weeks of Music Therapy where they worked in a variety of areas designed to motivate, inspire and encourage them to explore their creativity. Her program is also designed to help the students to develop creative problem-solving skills that will assist them in the navigation of everyday life experiences.

OIC OF NEW BRITAIN WINS THE 2024 NATIONAL LIGHTS ON AFTERSCHOOL “SHOW US YOUR SPARK” CONTEST

A special shout out to our performers Savannah H., Jarieliz I., Brooklyn A., Jadeyshalie E., Reality S., and Nevaeh J., for putting together this awesome video in support of American Savings Foundation’s annual Lights On Afterschool “Show Us Your Spark” Video Contest.  This year’s video contest celebrated the National Lights On Afterschool event that calls attention to the importance of afterschool programs for children, families, and communities in the United States. The "Show Us Your Spark" Video Contest aimed to hear how afterschool programs have positively impacted students, families, and communities throughout New Britain..
