Bomani Brown (Bo).

I graduated from Wesleyan University with a bachelor in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Neuroscience. I originally started off my career in medicine, but realized medicine is a business! If I was going to do business; I might as well directly be involved with it, right?  Thus, I transitioned to a company called Paychex. They are number 1 in the United Stated for working with small businesses.  I have been with them for 3 years and have had the pleasure of being Rookie of the Year, MVP in the Country, Top Revenue and Unit Producers, and finally this year named a top ten small business sales rep for 2017-2018.  Though I attained those accomplishments, none of it would have been possible without the help of OIC. The American Savings Foundation in New Britain gave me a scholarship to go to school and set me up as an OIC intern. It was that scholarship and the aid of OIC that helped me successfully finish college, and defy all the negative stereotypes that myself and other OIC protégé are associated with. Thus, I felt I had to give back and pass on this experience to other individuals. I have been on the board for 1 year and anticipate many more.
